Indian wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav shared that Shane Warne’s death two years ago felt like losing a family member, as he always felt a strong connection with the Australian legend.
While on a short family trip to Australia, Kuldeep Yadav visited the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), where he posed for a photo with the statue of his “idol,” Shane Warne, outside the stadium.
Kuldeep Yadav didn’t go into details about his relationship with Shane Warne, who passed away from a cardiac arrest while on holiday in Thailand in 2022. The T20 World Cup-winning cricketer’s visit to Australia comes just a few months ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin on November 22 in Perth. “I’m looking forward to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and we’re expecting a great cricket contest between Australia and India this year,” Kuldeep said.
